I am always excited when I see a profitable business using its resources for good in the community. Recently on a medical site I seen a courier service get a excellent review for providing free courier service. I thought to myself, "how great to see see a passion be fed where profit could be made". Now just a few months ago, in Charlotte (nc) there is a courier service stepping out publicly in the non-profit sector. These guys are seriously going over the top. Their courier service in Charlotte (nc) is giving out 20% of their profits to local charities and if that was not enough are giving non-profits a 20% discount on top of that.
Now that is putting your money where your mouth is but, this courier service decided not to stop there. They openly speak about their beliefs in God and loving on the community and serve the community with volunteer service work. These guys are the real deal.
Despite the risk of loosing profit, their courier service strategically accepts new clients who believe in their outreach mission and holds their employees to the same standard. While they do not say you have to believe the same spiritually, you have to believe in giving back to help the local and world communities.
They say that they want to be a leading example in business to encourage a movement in other corporations following suit to use their resources to build up the world in peace, prosperity and love for every human life. Now that is a courier service I would hire without a doubt.
